Version 1.0.2.0 beta (2nd release):
This is a minor release that fixed a single issue:
Port change not being applied.
This release resolves some important issues that have been reported.
Issues Fixed:
Video stream stopping 10 seconds before end of video. Unhandled Exception when application first loads. Incorrect "Shared Documents" path created during install. "Encoder Is." message showing when "Start/Stop" MCE add-in is activated.
New Features:
Use of custom profiles: users can now created their own streaming profiles. Auto-detection of install status: will install all required files and folders when application first starts. Auto-detection of Windows MCE: will prompt for install of Windows MCE add-ins when application first starts. Auto-detection of Windows Media Encoder: will check if encoder is installed and that it is working correctly. More helpful messages added to Windows MCE Add-ins. Troubleshooting area added to help document.
This is the initial release of MCE Video Encoder.
Features include:
Start and Stop Streaming from Windows Client and MCE Add-in, Pause and Unpause Streaming from Windows Client and MCE Add-in, Rewind and Fast Forward the Streaming (by configurable amount) from Windows Client and MCE Add-in, Play the stream from MCE Add-in, View Progress of video encoding in Windows Client, and Remote control MCE Video Encoder through Windows Messages and/or Command Files.
